If you plan on just taking a class or two at CCV, do not plan to use financial aid, and/or are completing a degree at another non-Vermont State College institution, then you should apply to CCV as a NON-DEGREE student. As a non-degree student, you may have the assessments waived by an advisor if unofficial transcripts of previous college courses demonstrate the background necessary for the courses you want to take.
