Can I get a loan for living expenses?

Yes, if you enroll for at least six credits. However, if you also have a grant and your loan funds arrive first on your student account, your loan funds will pay your tuition. Any remaining loan funds after the tuition bill is paid will be sent to you. Later, when your grant is placed on your student account, the additional credit balance will be sent to you.

When it is time to receive your credit balance, you can receive it much faster now by enrolling via Web Services in e-refund, where the refund is sent directly to your checking account. To enroll:

1.Log into the portal
2.Click the link for "VSC Web Services"
3.Go to “make a payment/view your bill” in the "students" menu.
4.Click on “my account”
5.Log into “Students and Staff”
6.Tab over to “Create a Refund Profile”
7.Select a Payment Type ( select electronic check for refunds)
8.Enter bank account information (account number, routing number)
